Worthington Operations Center
The Worthington Operations Center renovation delivered a comprehensive upgrade to both the interior and exterior of the facility, transforming an underutilized covered area into three purpose‑built spaces: Cold Storage 80, Semi‑Heated Bay 81, and the Air Compressor Room 82.
Prodigy reworked lighting, fire protection, and gutter systems; extended exterior walls above the existing roofline; and installed new parapets and scuppers to ensure long‑term durability. The Cold Storage and Semi‑Heated Bay received new garage doors with grade‑correcting speed bumps, poured concrete foundations, and full metal panel exterior systems.
Bay 81 was further enhanced with spray‑foam insulation, plumbing and mechanical systems, oil and solids interceptors, domestic water, compressed air, exhaust ventilation, and infrared heating. The project also included installation of the owner‑furnished air compressor on a new concrete pad.
This renovation increases operational efficiency, expands storage capacity, and provides a more functional, climate‑controlled environment for Worthington City Schools’ maintenance and transportation operations.
