Effective date: August 21, 2026 Last updated: August 21, 2026
1. About this policy
Prodigy Building Solutions, LLC ("Prodigy Building Solutions," "we," "us," or "our") is a design-build commercial construction firm headquartered in West Chester, Ohio, serving Ohio and the surrounding region.
This policy explains what information we collect when you visit buildingprodigy.com (the "Website"), contact us about a project, or otherwise communicate with us, and what we do with that information. The Website is operated from the United States and is intended for visitors in the United States.
This policy applies only to the Website and to communications you have with Prodigy Building Solutions. It does not apply to websites operated by anyone else, including our affiliates, each of which is responsible for its own privacy practices.
Your use of the Website is also governed by our Terms of Use, available on the Website. In the event of a conflict between this policy and the Terms of Use regarding personal information, this policy controls.
2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you give us
Most of the information we hold about you is information you provide directly — through a request or consultation form on our Website, by phone, by email, or in the course of a project. Depending on how you reach us and what you are asking about, this may include:
Contact information, such as your name, phone number, email address, mailing address, and the organization you represent.
Project information, such as the location, type, size, scope, timeline, and status of a project you are considering or have underway.
Information about how you found us, such as the referral source or advertisement that brought you to the Website.
Materials you send us, such as drawings, specifications, scopes of work, site photographs, bid documents, and correspondence.
Anything else you choose to tell us in a message, a call, or a meeting.
You are not required to provide personal information to browse the Website. If you choose not to provide certain information, we may be unable to respond to your inquiry or provide certain services.
2.2 Information collected automatically
When you visit the Website, our web server and our analytics tools automatically record technical information, including:
your IP address
your browser type and version, operating system, and device type
the pages you view, the time and date of your visit, and how long you stay
the website or advertisement that referred you to us
This information is collected through cookies and similar technologies. See Section 5.
2.3 Information from third parties
We may receive your contact information and project details from third parties, including:
lead-referral and directory services, marketing partners, and advertising platforms that pass along inquiries from people who asked to be contacted about a construction project
your employer, general contractor, architect, or another party involved in a project you are part of
publicly available sources such as bid solicitations, public records, and business directories
When a marketing or referral partner sends us your information, we rely on that partner to have obtained your consent to be contacted. If you believe you were referred to us in error, contact us and we will remove your information.
3. How we use information
We use the information described above to:
respond to your inquiry and answer questions about our services
prepare estimates, proposals, and bids
schedule and conduct consultations and site visits
perform, manage, and support construction work we are engaged to do
communicate with you about an active project, including scheduling and appointment reminders
handle billing, contracts, warranty claims, and recordkeeping
send you marketing communications about our services, where you have not opted out
operate, secure, and improve the Website, and understand how visitors use it
measure the performance of our advertising
comply with law and enforce our contracts
4. Phone calls and text messages
If you give us your phone number, we may call or text you about your inquiry, your appointment, or an active project. We may also send you occasional promotional messages if you have consented to receive them.
Consent. By submitting the form on our Website, or by giving us your number and asking us to reach out, you consent to receive calls and SMS/text messages from Prodigy Building Solutions at that number, including messages sent using automated technology. Consent to receive marketing messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services from us.
Message frequency. Message frequency varies and depends on your inquiry and whether you have an active project with us.
Cost. Message and data rates may apply.
Opting out. Reply STOP to any text message from us to stop receiving texts. You will receive a single confirmation message, after which no further texts will be sent unless you re-initiate contact. Reply HELP for assistance, or call us at the number in Section 12.
We do not share your mobile number for marketing. No mobile information or SMS opt-in consent will be sold, rented, or shared with any third party or affiliate for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers may be shared only with the vendors that operate our messaging and phone systems on our behalf, and only so that they can deliver messages for us. This exclusion applies to all of the sharing described in Section 6.
5. Cookies, analytics, and advertising
Cookies. The Website uses cookies and similar technologies — small files placed on your device — to keep the Website working correctly, remember your preferences, and measure traffic.
Analytics. We use third-party analytics services to understand how visitors find and use the Website. These services set cookies and collect the technical information described in Section 2.2 on our behalf.
Advertising. We advertise our services online. Our advertising and referral partners may place cookies or pixels on the Website to measure whether an advertisement led to an inquiry, and to show you our advertising on other websites and platforms you visit.
Your choices. Most browsers and mobile devices let you refuse, limit, or delete cookies and limit interest-based advertising through their settings; blocking cookies may cause parts of the Website to work incorrectly. We also honor recognized opt-out preference signals, such as the Global Privacy Control, where the law requires. To opt out of targeted advertising based on information we hold about you, you can also contact us directly as described in Section 8 and Section 12.
6. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information for money.
We share information in the following circumstances:
Service providers. With vendors who perform services for us — website hosting, email and text messaging, customer relationship management, analytics, accounting, and similar functions. They may use your information only to perform services for us.
Project participants. With suppliers, engineers, inspectors, bonding and insurance providers, and other parties who need the information to carry out a project you are involved in.
Public entities and public records. We perform work for public bodies such as school districts and municipalities. Information connected with a public project — including bid documents, correspondence, and project records — may become a public record under applicable law and subject to disclosure on request, which we cannot control.
Advertising partners. With advertising and analytics platforms, through the cookies and pixels described in Section 5. Under some state privacy laws this kind of activity is treated as "sharing" personal information for targeted advertising, even though no money changes hands. Section 8 explains how to opt out.
Legal reasons. When we believe disclosure is required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or is necessary to protect our rights, safety, or property, or that of others.
Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our business, in which case your information may be among the assets transferred.
We never share mobile numbers or SMS consent for third-party marketing, as stated in Section 4.
7. How long we keep information
We keep information for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy. In practice:
Inquiries that do not lead to a project are kept for our marketing and business records and are deleted on request.
Project records — contracts, drawings, correspondence, billing, and warranty documentation — are kept for the life of the project and for as long afterward as is necessary for warranty, insurance, bonding, tax, and legal purposes, which in construction can be many years after a project closes out.
Analytics data is kept according to the retention settings of the analytics tools we use.
8. Your choices and rights
Marketing email. Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops marketing email; we will still send messages about an active project.
Text messages. Reply STOP, as described in Section 4.
Cookies and advertising. Use the controls described in Section 5.
Access, correction, and deletion. You may ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Contact us using Section 12. We will respond within the time the law allows, and we will verify your identity before acting on a request. We may keep information we are required to keep by law or that we need for an active contract, a legal claim, or a warranty obligation.
State privacy rights. Depending on where you live, state consumer privacy laws may give you the right to:
know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose about them
obtain a copy of that information in a portable format
correct inaccurate personal information
request deletion of personal information
opt out of targeted advertising and of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information
not be discriminated against for exercising these rights
appeal a decision we make about a request
To exercise any of these rights, contact us as described in Section 12. You may use an authorized agent where the law permits; we will require proof of authorization. If we deny your request, you may appeal by contacting us again and stating that you are appealing our decision; if your appeal is denied, you may contact your state attorney general.
Much of the information we hold is business contact information exchanged in a commercial context, which some of these laws treat differently from consumer information. We will honor the rights applicable to you under the law of your state.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we hold. No website or system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee that information sent to us over the internet is safe from interception. Please do not send sensitive information — such as financial account numbers or government identification numbers — through the Website's form or by unencrypted email.
10. Children
The Website is intended for adults and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and if we learn that we have, we will delete it. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us.
11. Links to other sites
The Website may contain links to third-party websites, including manufacturer and product websites, industry partners, and social media platforms. We do not control these third-party sites and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or security. A link on our Website is not an endorsement of a third party or its practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any website you visit.
