Middletown District Wide Lighting Upgrade
Prodigy supported Middletown City School District with a comprehensive, multi‑building maintenance and lighting upgrade program spanning ten facilities. The project included providing asphalt, concrete, roofing, ionization, and extensive LED lighting materials and installation services to improve energy efficiency, visibility, and long‑term operational performance across the district.
Each building received a tailored package of premium LED fixtures, including 2x4 and 2x2 backlit flat panels, T8 line‑voltage tubes, linear high‑bay fixtures, trim kits, PL lamp retrofit kits, and 0–10V dimming systems with low‑voltage control wiring. These upgrades were designed to replace outdated fluorescent systems, reduce energy consumption, and create brighter, more consistent learning environments.
The scope covered the following schools:
Amanda Elementary – 584 LED 2x4 panels, 47 LED 2x2 panels, 194 T8 tubes, 16 high bays, 26 trim kits, 15 PL retrofits, 65 dimming systems
Central Academy – 368 LED 2x4 panels, 63 LED 2x2 panels, 142 T8 tubes, 16 high bays, 19 trim kits, 7 PL retrofits, 45 dimming systems
Creekview Elementary – 548 LED 2x4 panels, 53 LED 2x2 panels, 208 T8 tubes, 16 high bays, 44 trim kits, 11 PL retrofits, 62 dimming systems
Mayfield Elementary – 604 LED 2x4 panels, 45 LED 2x2 panels, 336 T8 tubes, 16 high bays, 44 trim kits, 12 PL retrofits, 62 dimming systems
Miller Ridge Elementary – 548 LED 2x4 panels, 53 LED 2x2 panels, 208 T8 tubes, 16 high bays, 44 trim kits, 11 PL retrofits, 62 dimming systems
Highview 6th Grade Center – 604 LED 2x4 panels, 45 LED 2x2 panels, 336 T8 tubes, 16 high bays, 44 trim kits, 12 PL retrofits, 62 dimming systems
Wildwood Elementary – 604 LED 2x4 panels, 45 LED 2x2 panels, 336 T8 tubes, 16 high bays, 44 trim kits, 12 PL retrofits, 62 dimming systems
Middle School – 841 LED 2x4 panels, 119 LED 2x2 panels, 80 T8 tubes, 48 high bays, 112 direct/indirect linear fixtures, 77 dimming systems
High School – 1,877 LED 2x4 panels, 44 LED 2x2 panels, 344 T8 tubes, 135 high bays, 273 direct/indirect linear fixtures, 130 dimming systems
These upgrades significantly improved lighting quality, reduced maintenance needs, and enhanced energy efficiency across the district’s learning environments. Combined with additional maintenance services—including asphalt, concrete, roofing, and ionization support—this program delivered a district‑wide improvement in facility performance and operational reliability.
